Owner and operator

Somali.help is an independent civic-information project founded and maintained by Ahmed Saleban Abdi, an ICT professional from Somalia. It is not owned by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the Federal Government of Somalia, a regional administration, the United Nations, or any organization listed in the directory.

Purpose

Our goal is to make scattered public information easier to discover, compare and verify. Somali.help links visitors to original providers and official sources; it does not replace the responsible authority or deliver the listed services itself.

Editorial process

We prefer official pages, public registries and direct provider information. Each record should identify its source, status and last-check date. Material corrections are reviewed before publication.

Independence

Inclusion is not an endorsement. Rankings are not sold. Sponsored or advertising content, if introduced later, will be visibly separated from editorial records.

Funding

The project is currently independently developed. Somali.help may later use clearly labelled advertising or sponsorship to support operating costs, subject to privacy choices and applicable rules.

Verification labels

Officially verified means supported by an authoritative registry or direct confirmation. Community-mapped means sourced from public mapping. Eligibility requires confirmation applies to genuine opportunities whose Somali eligibility is not explicit.

Corrections and accountability

Organizations and members of the public can report incorrect, outdated or incomplete information through the contact page. Urgent safety information should always be confirmed with the responsible authority.
